Damage: The Untold Story of Brain Trauma in Boxing by Tris Dixon

Thirty Dollars and a Cut Eye by J Russell Peltz

I picked up “Thirty Dollars and a Cut Eye”, written by boxing promoter J Russell Peltz, at the recommendation of boxing promoter Michelle “Raging Babe” Rosado. J Russell Peltz has been involved in boxing for over 50 years. The reviews show that he discusses many historic fights throughout the book, while also detailing what goes on behind-the-scenes, including the business side of the sport. I’m looking forward to starting this one. 

Run Streak and Running Goals:

Progress: As of 9/26/21, I’ve now run 1,150 miles for the year, while maintaining my 269-day run streak.

Also, I have continued to host our virtual boxing sessions. Thank you to our members for keeping your memberships active and continuing to support our gym during this time. And I’m personally glad to have been able to aid in your boxing development all year!

  • How to hold mitts
  • Body weight circuits
  • And more!
